Landlord’s Safety Certificate
If you are a landlord then you will know all about the safety certificate that is now required by law called the EICR.
The EICR is something that must be renewed every 5 years or upon change of tenancy. It involves a battery of tests, both visual and tested with a multi function tester, that give an accurate summary of the condition of the electrical installation. It is either a ‘Satisfactory’ or ‘Unsatisfactory’ result and any remedial work will need to be completed before a ‘Satistfactory’ report can be issued.
